Silverdale Road, Hayes

Levy acted on behalf of the tenant of this 2,500 sq ft warehouse property in connection with the terminal schedule of dilapidations.  By carefully interpreting the tenant’s obligations in the lease, the team was able to secure a reduction in liability in excess of 75% from the original claim.

Cowley Business Park, Uxbridge

Acting on behalf of the tenant, Levy is advising on the terminal dilapidations and the potential for a capped liability due to Section 18.

Broadcasting House, Hastings Street, Luton

Levy acted on behalf of the private landlord owner of this 10,000 sq ft former office and studio building. The Section 18 valuation demonstrated a significant loss in value due to the dilapidations and was a key factor in securing a significant settlement sum from the departing tenant.

Levy was appointed by the landlord in this well-publicised dilapidations case, to act as Expert Witness in referral to the High Court. The Client received a very substantial award of damages, justifying their decision to undertake the works in the absence of the tenant repairing the building.
