Flexible office brand takes King’s Cross prelet 08.06.18

Flexible office space provider, Spaces, has agreed an 11-year lease on 40,000 sq ft grade-A offices being developed by LBS Properties at 70 White Lion Street, London N1.

The flexible workspace brand will take up occupation when the building completes in 2019 to take its total lettings in the capital to more than 300,000 sq ft.

The Painter Building is Spaces’ 12th confirmed location in London. Spaces was founded in 2006 in Amsterdam and now has locations in more than 25 countries globally including UK hubs in Liverpool, Brighton and Edinburgh as well as London.

“Demand for flexible office space is growing rapidly – research shows that 53% of professionals globally now work remotely for at least half their working week and 30% of corporate real estate portfolios could be flexible workspace by 2030,” said Richard Morris, UK chief executive of Spaces.

Levy Real Estate and Colliers International advised LBS on the letting.
